45 LESSONS OF LIFE..

Hi people. I got an e-mail today that actually was a thing that many might have read before, like a chain-letter or something. Never the less it is good advice, and will make you smile and cry.. If you're human, that is.. :-)
The following was written by a lady once, and she issued it and it started rolling..
I certainly hope it's made the impact on my life that I sorely need..

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me.
It is the most-requested column I've ever written.
My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more :
 
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job or your friends won't take care of you when you are sick. Your parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come...

SEEKING THE FACE OF GOD

I received yet another mail from David Wilkerson recently, and I found it to be so important. Especially in the times we now are living in. So many things to choose, or believe, or let consume time, or occupy mind, body and spirit.

Let's get back to the hunger for the Living Word, so that it may transform us and reveal its secrets to us..

SEEKING THE FACE OF GOD

In Psalm 27, David beseeches God in an intense urgent prayer. He pleads in verse 7, “Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.” His prayer is focused on one desire, one ambition, something that has become all consuming for him: “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after” (27:4).

David is testifying, “I have one prayer, Lord, one request. It is my single most important goal in life, my constant prayer, the one thing I desire. And I will seek after it with all that’s within me. This one thing consumes me as my goal.”

What was this one thing that David desired above all else, the object he’d set his heart on obtaining? He tells us: “That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple” (27:4).

Make no mistake: David was no ascetic, shunning the outside world. He wasn’t a hermit, seeking to hide away in a lonely desert place. No, David was a passionate man of action. He was a great warrior, with huge throngs singing of his victories in battle. He was also passionate in his prayer and devotion, with a heart that yearned after God. And the Lord had blessed David with so many of the desires of his heart.

Indeed, David tasted everything a man could want in life. He had known riches and wealth, power and authority. He had received the respect, praises and adulation of men. God had given him Jerusalem as the capital for the kingdom and he was surrounded by devoted men who were willing to die for him.

Most of all, David was a worshiper. He was a praising man who gave thanks to God for all his blessings. He testified, “The Lord laid blessings on me daily.”

David was saying, in effect, “There is a way of living I seek now—a settled place in the Lord that my soul longs for. I want uninterrupted spiritual intimacy with my God.”  This was what David meant when he prayed, “That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple” (27:4).

A MAIL SOMEONE SENT ME TODAY..

...led to me answering in the words below these. Some people wants to know my "real name". Verifire is my real name, out on the Internet.. :-) Some want to know my "denomination". There's only one. People wonder about a lot of stuff, and some are very inquisitive. In such cases I go oyster. Zip. Bugging me won't do no one any good..

Anyway: Here's my answer to that mail from today:

"...How can I explain what my statement of faith is, if not by the words I wrote you in my last note?

There is only One Body of Christ, and it consists of born-again Christians who walk according to the Spirit of God who lives in them (us) by the faith in Yeshua as the Saviour for every human being.

I stopped "going to church", as you put it, because I couldn't find any food there, and I mean spiritually, and the food I had to bring forth, there was no opening for. Hence; I started going, through my computer and in my Spirit into the "ministry" in which I'm now engaged.

When Jesus comes back, He's not gonna lift the whole congregation of people out of this particular denomination unto Himself, He'll gather those who wait eagerly for His return in the sky. One here, two there, none there. When we stand before Him, He'll apparently ask just one question: "Did you feed Me? Did you clothe Me?" We're supposed to live a life according to the Word of the Scripture, close to Yeshua, and that's it. He's here with us right now. In the spiritual world/dimension, there's no distance, no time, You in.. ..are right here with me, and my spirit is with you..

I couldn't throw any more stones at the wind in all of these "established churches". There were people waiting for me to enter where there was no workers in truth and Spirit from what I could find. They all wanted money to share the stuff they'd got from our Heavenly Father. I found this to be in strict conflict with Jesus' Words, so I started sharing stuff in His Name, and in the belief that this was right. Some argue that I share "copyrighted material" and therefore break "the law", but the times are such that if I don't, people like yourself wouldn't get to it.

"It's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it.." as the expression goes. Though it's not dirty at all, of course, I just used it as a bad analogy..

It takes a lot of guts to do what you've done, converting in the midst of a majority of loved ones, unto this strange, but yet so intriguing and obviously different God. Honor will be bestowed upon you for that act of obedience.

And even if you've stopped going to church, you're still in the real Church, you know. You're doing, like me, service and having fellowship. This is the only way we can do it, so Yeshua approves. Of course He does.

My "real name" is totally irrelevant in any case, let us know each other by what we do and who we are according to our deeds, in the secrecy of our own hearts as well as in the obvious. Like writing mails. Yes?

There are reasons as to why it's better for everyone if I keep my ID somewhat hidden for the time being, and that's just the way it is.."

[He has asked for whether I'm a believer in the "Trinity theology", if I believe in the Lake of Fire and such, so..:]

"Trinity means that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is the same person, doesn't it? It's incredible how many strange things people sit and theologize about. Of course they're three different persons, but they totally agree. How could the Father give birth to His Son if the Son is the Father? How could there be a statement from Jesus like: "Every word humans speak against the Son of Man (Himself) will be forgiven, but he who contradicts (or mocks) the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven." Ergo, no "Trinity Broadcast Network" witchcraft for me.

Literally a lake burning with flames? Yes, of course there will be such a place. Why would Jesus tell of such a place in such great detail if not?

We complicate everything. Like there's a passage where Paul states: [sorry to paraphrase] "So that I shall not exalt myself because I have such high revelations, God has given me a thorn in my flesh, an angel of Satan, so that he shall strike me less I should exalt myself. I begged the Lord three times to take him away, but He answered me every time: My mercy is enough for you, because My power is fulfilled in weakness." And there the discussion rages: "I wonder what this thorn in his flesh was?" Paul says it was an angel from Satan that tortured him. With what, we have no business, what so ever. I'd be shameful if I started to ponder upon such things. Why not just read the Word and believe the Word, like a child, and be satisfied through that?

It's not so complicated. Seek His face, and He will let it shine upon you. Trust Him..

As to your thanks and gratitude, you owe Him and Him alone.. I'm merely a small servant that, hopefully, is building a house on the same Cornerstone as Paul and Peter and you.. Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. That is the key to a changed inner being from being a heathen to become the image of the Holy One, little by little.. Keep going to church, but make it your private church, living your life and doing everything as for Him. He'll never let go of your hand..

Loads of prayers and thanks will be offered from the bottom of my heart for you.. :-)"
